  Food is good, but not excellent. I would hope there'd be plenty of crackling with a pork dinner; and they never serve lamb, which is a big thumbs down for us. Customer service on bar & management leaves a lot to be desired. Waitresses are nice. To not let me share my toast & sausage with my baby son (when I wasn't even going back for 2nds) and ask me to pay for him to eat separately is just ridiculous, it was my paid for meal to do with what I like!

  Terrible.
  
  Tiny portion of each of the meats, cut so thin you could see through them apart for the beef. This was just fat and grissle.
  
  Veg was a joke.
  Luke warm at best! Dry and poorly done. No flavour at all.
  
  I still cannot work out if it was cauliflower cheese or just mushy califlour!
  Red cabbage, carrots with bits of parsley in it and mash.
  The roast potatoes were swimming in fat, cold and burnt! The butternut squash was unidentifiable, I had to ask what it was as once again cool and burnt.
  
  The gravy station with condiments.
  
  Where do I start.
  Cold, messy and empty.
  The station was disgusting.
  No one had refilled condiments.
  The gravy had not been refilled.
  The only thing full was horse reddish, ladels were covered in gravy and the whole top of cubord was covered in gravy drips.
  Tea spoons were laying in gravybon the top!
  
  We had to ask our waiter 3x for glasses and waved towards a drink machine..again... not been cleaned up and try full of drinks!
  
  I wouldent have minded so much if there was a excuse but there were only a dozen or so people in there on a Tuesday evening at 6.30pm.
  
  We left the voucher on the table as we could not find any staff to give it too.
  Service appauling, food poor.
  
  If you want a nice family meal out. Do not go here.
  The George in lower cumtwch is amazing value, great food and fantastic service.
  I've always said you get what you pay for, this is my first and LAST time ever going to a Toby carvery!
  ( when I complained I was not offered a refund or any voucher to come again. They have no customer service skills. They evidently do not care about returning customers!)

  Food is always fresh and hot. Staff are promt and very helpful. We come here Every Friday after work and we love it. No place can beat the Carvery here. 5 ✴️

  6pm Saturday and they have run out of ham and turkey. Few vegetables left. Had to wait for fresh pork and beef. Not impressed.
